NBK Rewards Program is the most significant rewards program in Kuwait, with more than 850 partner outlets providing instant discounts all 365 days exclusively for NBK customers.
Due to the massive number of partner outlets, the NBK customers weren't able to locate the partners and stay up to date with the offers.
Our solution started with creating Geo Alerts service on the NBK Mobile Banking App to notify the customers through notifications about the nearby discounts, offers based on the current location, or search by location
In 2019, we created a unique AR filter based on geolocation technology that turns the Avenues Mall, the largest gathering location in Kuwait, and has many Rewards partners outlets under one roof into an exclusive festival location for the NBK customers.
We add the button on NBK mobile banking that allows the customers to download the AR filter to experience the exclusive festival.
Once the customers entered the Avenues Mall, the AR filter gets activated. The NBK customers started enjoying the celebratory mood through their mobile screens and locating the discounts, offers, and exclusive rewards while walking around in the mall.
Also, we created a series of ads presenting all reward program categories into a festival mood to target the customers based on their interests, cover the reward categories that are not available at the mall, and maximize awareness about the reward program.
