The last season of the P2BK event was planned to be in late 2015, and at CircusBC, we want organizers to create a fabulous experience during the last season. Therefore, I have worked on the core idea behind the Remal international festival and re-imagine the best 40 stories of Alf Layla w Layla (1001 nights) to create "the world's largest sand sculpture village and light show."

While the term sandcastle might bring to mind childhood days at the beach with a plastic pail and shovel and took hours to build and shape, and likely disappeared with the next high tide, the Remal international festival village was constructed to drip castles to shame.

The Enchanted Horse

The king of Bengal reviewed the imperial guard as it lined up before his palace. It was 10,000 in number, and it bristled with spikes and swords, banners fluttered in the wind, drums beat, horses stomped the ground, it was an incredible sight even for a seasoned general... He turned the screw, and all watched as it began to judder and rock, and it took off into the air flying above the heads of the army.

The First Voyage of Sinbad

“They perceived the trembling of the island on board the ship called us to re-embark speedily, or we should all be lost, for what we took for an island was only the back of a whale.” The whale plunged suddenly into the depths of the ocean, leaving me clinging to a piece of the wood that we had brought to make our fire.

Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp

Aladdin joined his hands, and he rubbed the ring which the magician had put on his finger, and of which he knew not yet the virtue. Immediately a genie of enormous size and frightful aspect rose out of the earth, his hand reaching the roof of the vault, and said to him: “What wouldst thou have? I am ready to obey thee as the slave of all who may possess the ring on their finger; I, and the other slaves of that ring.”

A 30,000 square meters using more than 35,000 tons of sand to create the largest sand sculpture village the world has ever seen. The village is surrounded by a wall of various heights connected by a series of towers. A unique international team of 73 of the world's leading sand art pioneers and experts harnessed themselves to build the sculptures.

The central sculptures are more than 50 feet tall and 2,500 linear feet of 10-foot-tall walls of carved sand. Giving the visitors once in a lifetime opportunity to witness 80 international shows performance on one stage. The total cost of the project is about $3,000,000. Experienced by more than 2000000 million visitors from around the world.
